Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology From An Accredited University Is Required For This Position. This Ensures That The Therapist Has Received Comprehensive Training In Communication Disorders And Is Equipped To Provide High-Quality Care To Patients.
State Licensure And Asha Certification: The Speech Therapist Must Hold A Valid License To Practice In The State Where They Will Be Working, As Well As Certification From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha). These Credentials Demonstrate That The Therapist Has Met The Professional Standards And Is Committed To Ongoing Education And Development.
Experience In Inpatient Settings: Kaiser Permanente Is Seeking A Speech Therapist With Experience In Treating Patients In An Inpatient Setting. This Includes Working With Patients Who Have A Variety Of Medical Conditions And Disorders, Such As Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, And Neurological Disorders.
