We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Specialty Unit Rapid Response Nurse to join our team at Kaiser Permanente Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, specialized nursing care in response to emergent and urgent patient needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as a commitment to providing the highest level of patient-centered care. The successful candidate should have a strong knowledge of specialty unit protocols and procedures, as well as the ability to respond quickly and effectively to changing patient needs. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality, specialized nursing care to emergent and urgent patient needs.
  2. Utilize excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  3. Provide patient-centered care with a commitment to excellence.
  4. Demonstrate a strong knowledge of specialty unit protocols and procedures.
  5. Respond quickly and effectively to changing patient needs.
  6. Monitor patient progress and update medical staff as necessary.
  7. Administer medications and treatments as directed.
  8. Document patient care and medical records accurately.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  10. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment.
