  1. Provide high-quality patient care in the Operating Room, utilizing your experience as a Registered Nurse.

  3. Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  4. Utilize critical thinking skills and sound clinical judgement in assessing and managing patient conditions.

  6. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

  8. Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, and respond quickly and appropriately to any changes in their condition.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in operating room procedures and techniques.
  10. Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care and continuously strive to improve the patient experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher: Kaiser Permanente Values Higher Education And Often Requires A Bsn Or Higher Degree For Registered Nursing Positions.

  • Current Rn License In The State Of Practice: A Valid Rn License Is A Must For This Job, As It Involves Direct Patient Care And Administering Medications.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Recent Or Experience: Kaiser Permanente Looks For Staff Rns With A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In The Operating Room Setting To Ensure They Are Familiar With The Unique Demands Of This Unit.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Required For This Position To Ensure The Rn Is Prepared To Respond To Emergency Situations And Provide Critical Care.

  • Knowledge Of Surgical Equipment And Procedures: As An Or Nurse At Kaiser Permanente, It Is Important To Have A Strong Understanding Of Surgical Equipment And Procedures To Assist Surgeons And Ensure Patient Safety During Operations.
