
Sonographer, Diagnostic Ultrasound
At Kaiser Permanente, we are looking for an experienced Sonographer, Diagnostic Ultrasound to join the team and help us continue providing our members with the highest quality of care. The ideal candidate for this position will be knowledgeable and skilled in the relevant diagnostic ultrasound techniques and have a passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. The successful candidate will be a dedicated healthcare professional who is committed to providing accurate and reliable imaging services and results.The successful candidate must possess a valid Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Radiologic Technologist Limited (ARRT-L) certification, as well as certification in Diagnostic Ultrasound. A minimum of three years of diagnostic ultrasound experience in a hospital or related healthcare setting is also required. In addition, the ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to patient safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging and interpret results accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide patient-centered care in a compassionate and respectful manner
- Follow all safety protocols and standards in order to maintain patient safety
- Maintain a high level of knowledge in relevant diagnostic ultrasound techniques
- Follow established departmental protocols and procedures
- Provide accurate and reliable imaging services and results
- Utilize interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Maintain valid Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Radiologic Technologist Limited (ARRT-L) certification as well as certification in Diagnostic Ultrasound
- Work independently to complete projects and tasks in a timely manner
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices
