
Sonographer, Diagnostic Ultrasound
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sonographer, Diagnostic Ultrasound to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. Our ideal candidate is skilled in performing a full range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, small parts and cardiac in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role requires a compassionate and patient-centered approach to providing quality care.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must possess a minimum of one year of experience in Diagnostic Ultrasound and hold an American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, small parts and cardiac in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Provide quality patient care in a compassionate and patient-centered manner.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Maintain ARDMS certification and keep up with the latest ultrasound technology.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed.
- Document patient information and results accurately.
- Provide feedback to other staff members regarding patient care.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay up to date on developments in diagnostic ultrasound.
