  1. Perform diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  2. Operate and maintain state-of-the-art equipment and ensure its proper functioning for accurate results.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and technologists to provide comprehensive and quality care to patients.
  4. Collect and analyze patient data, images, and other information to aid in clinical decision making.
  5. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures, providing reassurance and addressing any concerns or questions.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  7. Continuously stay updated on advancements in technology and techniques in the field of diagnostic cardiac sonography.
  8. Adhere to all ethical, regulatory, and compliance standards in performing diagnostic cardiac sonography.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental protocols and procedures.
  10. Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients and their families, creating a positive and supportive environment.
  11. Assist in the training and supervision of new sonographers and students, as needed.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and timely patient care.
  13. Maintain a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  14. Participate in departmental and hospital meetings, trainings, and education programs to stay updated on policies, procedures, and best practices.
  15. Adhere to confidentiality and privacy policies to protect patient information.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Certification From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy And Physiology, As Well As Understanding Of Echocardiographic Techniques And Equipment

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team And With Patients Of All Ages And Backgrounds.
