In this role, you will perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasounds to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.   1. Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasounds: The primary responsibility of this role is to perform accurate and high-quality diagnostic cardiac ultrasounds on patients.
  2. Aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients: The Sonographer will use their skills and expertise to provide crucial information to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  3. Ensure high-quality care: The Sonographer will be responsible for ensuring that all procedures are performed with the utmost care and precision, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  4. Maintain equipment and supplies: The Sonographer will be responsible for maintaining and calibrating equipment, as well as ensuring an adequate supply of necessary materials for procedures.
  5. Record and document findings: The Sonographer will accurately record and document all ultrasound findings and provide detailed reports to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare team: The Sonographer will work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  7. Follow safety protocols: The Sonographer will adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety of patients and themselves during procedures.
  8. Attend training and education programs: The Sonographer will participate in ongoing training and education programs to stay current with advancements in the field and maintain necessary certifications.
  9. Maintain patient confidentiality: The Sonographer will maintain patient confidentiality at all times and follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy.
  10. Uphold organization standards: The Sonographer will uphold the high standards and values of the organization, providing excellent patient care and representing the organization in a professional manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Associate's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.

  • Valid Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) Or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (Rcs) Through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Cci).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography, Preferably In A Hospital Or Medical Setting.

  • Proficient In Performing And Interpreting Echocardiograms, Stress Echocardiograms, And Transesophageal Echocardiograms.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals To Provide High-Quality Patient Care.
