As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis of various cardiac conditions.   1. Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures: The primary responsibility of this position is to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients to assist in the diagnosis of various cardiac conditions.
  2. Utilize strong background in cardiovascular imaging: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular imaging and will be responsible for utilizing this knowledge to accurately and effectively perform ultrasound procedures.
  3. Provide high-quality patient care: The Sonographer will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the ultrasound procedure.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry advancements: It is the responsibility of the Sonographer to stay current with advancements in the field of cardiac sonography and incorporate new techniques and technologies into their practice.
  5. Follow established protocols and safety measures: The Sonographer will be expected to follow established protocols and safety measures to ensure accurate and safe procedures.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare team: This position requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  7. Maintain accurate documentation: Accurate and timely documentation of ultrasound procedures and patient information is essential to this role.
  8. Ensure equipment is properly maintained: The Sonographer will be responsible for maintaining and calibrating ultrasound equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
  9. Assist in training and mentoring: As a Sonographer with a minimum of 2 years of experience, this individual may be responsible for assisting in the training and mentoring of new ultrasound technicians.
  10. Adhere to ethical and professional standards: It is the responsibility of the Sonographer to adhere to ethical and professional standards, including patient confidentiality and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.

  • Ardms Certification In Adult Echocardiography Or Rdcs Certification In Adult Echocardiography.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography.

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathology.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Collaborating With Patients And Healthcare Team Members.
