  1. Perform ultrasound procedures on patients following established protocols and safety measures.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all procedures and patient information.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience.
  4. Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure quality and accuracy of images.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  6. Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
  7. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service and promote a positive image of the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Sonography Program: Candidates Must Have Completed A Degree Or Certificate Program In Diagnostic Medical Sonography From An Accredited Institution.

  • Ardms Certification: Sonographers Must Be Certified By The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) In At Least One Specialty Area, Such As Abdominal Or Obstetric Sonography.

  • Experience With A Variety Of Imaging Equipment: Candidates Should Have Experience Operating A Range Of Sonography Equipment, Including 2D And 3D Ultrasound Machines, As Well As Knowledge Of Advanced Techniques Such As Doppler And Contrast-Enhanced Imaging.

  • Knowledge Of Anatomy And Physiology: Sonographers Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Human Anatomy And Physiology, As Well As The Ability To Recognize Abnormalities And Communicate Findings To Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Key Member Of The Healthcare Team, Sonographers Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Medical Staff In A Professional And Compassionate Manner.
