- Assist surgical team: The Senior Surgical Technician will be responsible for assisting the surgical team during procedures, including preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and passing instruments to surgeons.
- Maintain equipment: The Senior Surgical Technician will be responsible for maintaining surgical equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition, and reporting any issues or malfunctions.
- Prepare patients: The Senior Surgical Technician will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, including positioning them correctly on the operating table and ensuring they are properly draped.
- Anticipate needs: The Senior Surgical Technician must have a strong understanding of surgical procedures and be able to anticipate the needs of the surgical team, ensuring that all necessary instruments and supplies are readily available.
- Ensure safety: The Senior Surgical Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of patients during surgery, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with emergency procedures if needed.

Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Credential From The National Board Of Surgical Technology And Surgical Assisting (Nbstsa).
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Surgical Technician, With At Least 2 Years In A Senior Or Lead Role.
Knowledge Of Current Surgical Techniques, Procedures, And Equipment Used In Multiple Surgical Specialties.
Demonstrated Ability To Anticipate The Needs Of The Surgical Team And Provide Efficient And Accurate Assistance During Procedures.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Mentor Junior Staff And Maintain A Positive Working Relationship With Surgeons And Other Healthcare Professionals.
