  1. Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies for procedures.
  2. Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures.
  3. Handle and organize sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies in the operating room.
  4. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure patient safety.
  5. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and assist with any necessary tasks.
  6. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide the best patient care.
  8. Keep accurate records of supplies and equipment used during procedures.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients to provide information and ensure their comfort and safety.
  10. Train and mentor junior surgical technicians to improve their skills and knowledge.
  11. Stay updated on new surgical techniques and technologies to continuously improve patient care.
  12. Follow Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  15. Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Credential From An Accredited Program

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As A Surgical Technician In A Hospital Setting

  • Proficiency In A Wide Range Of Surgical Procedures, Including But Not Limited To General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, And Neurosurgery

  • Strong Knowledge Of Surgical Equipment And Instruments, As Well As Sterile Techniques And Infection Control Protocols

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Assist Surgeons And Other Healthcare Professionals In The Operating Room.
