- Provide high-quality, compassionate healthcare to patients at Kaiser Permanente.
- Work closely with physicians to assess, diagnose, and treat patients according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Stay up-to-date on current medical practices, procedures, and techniques through continuing education and professional development.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for other physician assistants and healthcare staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours coverage as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and excellence in patient care.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure open and effective communication.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new physician assistants and other healthcare staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervising physician or healthcare leadership.
Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.
Current Certification From The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Physician Assistant, Preferably In A Hospital Or Primary Care Setting.
Strong Clinical And Diagnostic Skills, Including The Ability To Assess And Manage Complex Medical Conditions.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Abilities, With A Focus On Patient-Centered Care And Collaboration With Other Healthcare Professionals.
