- Provide high-quality medical care to patients, utilizing advanced clinical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe and administer medications as needed, in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, treatment plans, and disease prevention.
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and medications accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and stay current with advancements in medical treatments and procedures.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to other physician assistants and healthcare staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Attend departmental meetings and conferences to stay updated on facility policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
- Uphold the values and mission of Kaiser Permanente in all aspects of the job.
- Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
- Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.
Current Certification From The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Physician Assistant, Preferably In A Primary Care Or Specialty Setting.
Strong Clinical Knowledge And Ability To Diagnose And Treat A Variety Of Medical Conditions.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Providers.
