We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Obstetrics Technician to join our team at Kaiser Permanente.   1. Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the obstetrics department.
  2. Utilize expertise and knowledge to assist in the delivery of safe and effective care.
  3. Maintain a thorough understanding of obstetrics procedures, protocols, and equipment.
  4. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the medical team.
  5. Assist with prenatal exams, labor and delivery, and postpartum care.
  6. Administer medications and perform basic medical procedures as directed by physicians.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients.
  9. Keep abreast of current trends and advancements in obstetrics care.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  11. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols.
  12. Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  13. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency situations.
  14. Mentor and train other obstetrics technicians, as needed.
  15. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  16. Continuously assess and improve processes to enhance patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As An Obstetrics Technician In A Hospital Or Medical Setting.

  • Certification As A Surgical Technologist Or Ob Technician From An Accredited Program.

  • Knowledge Of And Proficiency In Sterile Technique And Infection Control Protocols.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Team Of Healthcare Professionals.

  • Ability To Handle High-Stress And Fast-Paced Environments, With Excellent Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Skills.
