  1. Develop and implement financial planning strategies to support the overall mission and goals of Kaiser Permanente.
  2. Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide recommendations to senior leadership regarding potential areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and budgets.
  4. Lead the annual budgeting process and provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
  5. Monitor and evaluate financial performance and identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
  6. Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  7. Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future trends and inform decision-making.
  8. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis to continuously improve processes and strategies.
  9. Communicate financial information and reports to various stakeholders, including senior leadership and external auditors.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of financial plans and goals.
  11. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and partners.
  12. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial planning and analysis.
  13. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  14. Represent Kaiser Permanente and its financial interests in external meetings and events.
  15. Continuously evaluate and recommend solutions for optimizing financial performance and achieving organizational objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Financial Planning And Analysis: A Senior Manager In This Role At Kaiser Permanente Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Financial Planning And Analysis, With A Proven Track Record Of Success In A Similar Role.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Interpret Complex Financial Data To Identify Trends, Forecast Future Performance, And Make Strategic Recommendations To Support Business Objectives.

  • Advanced Knowledge Of Financial Systems And Tools: The Senior Manager Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Financial Systems And Tools, Such As Excel, Sap, And Hyperion, To Effectively Manage Financial Planning And Analysis Processes.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: This Role Requires Strong Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Financial Information To Senior Leadership. Experience Managing And Developing A Team Is Also Preferred.

  • Healthcare Industry Experience: Kaiser Permanente Is A Leading Healthcare Organization, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In The Healthcare Industry, Preferably In A Similar Role. Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Reimbursement Models Is Also A Plus.
