Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Investigator to join the Kaiser Permanente team. This position requires an individual with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to think critically and rapidly assess situations. The Senior Investigator will be responsible for conducting investigations into allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse. To be successful in this role, the Senior Investigator must have a minimum of five years of investigative experience in a similar role, preferably in the healthcare industry. Additionally, the ideal candidate must have excellent communication, research, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage investigations that involve allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse.
  2. Analyze complex data and other evidence to identify patterns and discrepancies.
  3. Gather and document evidence during the course of an investigation.
  4. Interview relevant stakeholders and witnesses to gain additional information.
  5. Prepare detailed reports summarizing the results of investigations.
  6. Follow all relevant laws and regulations while conducting investigations.
  7. Monitor outcomes and recommend changes in policies or procedures to prevent similar incidents from occurring.
  8. Maintain a secure and confidential environment throughout the investigation.
  9. Utilize problem-solving skills to determine the best course of action.
  10. Keep abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations.
