  1. Develop and implement public health initiatives and strategies in alignment with Kaiser Permanente's mission and goals.
  2. Lead and oversee all aspects of public health programs, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
  3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address community health needs and disparities.
  4. Stay updated on current public health trends and best practices, and integrate them into Kaiser Permanente's initiatives.
  5. Develop and manage budgets, resources, and timelines for public health programs.
  6. Provide guidance and support to a team of public health professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  7. Build and maintain partnerships with government agencies, community organizations, and other healthcare providers to advance public health initiatives.
  8. Develop and implement data-driven strategies to measure and improve the effectiveness of public health programs.
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to public health.
  10. Serve as a representative and advocate for Kaiser Permanente's public health initiatives at conferences, events, and other forums.
  11. Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  12. Report regularly to senior management on the progress and impact of public health programs.
  13. Identify and address any challenges or barriers to the success of public health initiatives and develop solutions to overcome them.
  14. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and expand public health services provided by Kaiser Permanente.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Public Health: The Senior Director Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience Working In The Public Health Field, Preferably In A Leadership Role. This Experience Should Include Developing And Implementing Public Health Programs, Managing Budgets, And Leading Teams.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Effectively Managing And Leading Teams, As Well As Developing And Implementing Strategic Plans. They Should Also Have Experience In Budget Management And Resource Allocation.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Industry: A Strong Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry, Including Current Trends And Policies, Is Essential For The Senior Director To Effectively Navigate The Complex Landscape Of Healthcare Delivery. This Knowledge Should Extend To Public Health Initiatives And Collaborations With Other Organizations.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Senior Director Should Possess Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, To Effectively Engage With Internal And External Stakeholders. They Should Also Have A Proven Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Diverse Groups To Achieve Common Goals.

  • Advanced Degree In Public Health Or Related Field: A Master's Degree Or Higher In Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For A Senior Director Position. This Educational Background Is Essential For Understanding Complex Public Health Issues And Developing Evidence-Based Strategies To Address Them.
