Job Description

We’re searching for a dynamic Senior Director of Communications, Community Health to join the Kaiser Permanente team. This role is vital to our mission of providing excellent health care to our communities. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a real impact in the health care industry, has a proven track record of successful marketing and communications strategies, and an understanding of the current issues in community health.The Senior Director of Communications, Community Health will be responsible for developing, executing, and evaluating a comprehensive communications strategy to increase access to health care services and promote the Kaiser Permanente brand. They will ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and lead the development of high-quality content to support Kaiser Permanente’s community health initiatives.To be successful in this role, the Senior Director of Communications, Community Health should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in communications and health care, a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Our ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.If you have a passion for promoting community health and a track record of successful communications campaigns, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, execute, and evaluate a comprehensive communications strategy to increase access to health care services and promote the Kaiser Permanente brand.
  2. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Lead the development of high-quality content to support Kaiser Permanente’s community health initiatives.
  4. Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  5. Develop creative solutions to challenges in communications and health care.
