Security Project Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Security Project Manager to join our team at Kaiser Permanente! In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating a safe and secure environment for our employees and customers. You’ll lead the development of security policies, procedures, and tools to protect our organization and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.The ideal candidate for this position has a passion for security, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to staying up to date on the latest cybersecurity trends. You must have a Bachelor’s degree in a security-related field or equivalent experience, and at least five years’ experience in a security-related position. A CISSP certification is highly desirable.You must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be a creative problem solver, and have the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:

1. Develop security policies, procedures, and tools to protect the organization and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
2. Monitor and analyze security threats and advise on appropriate counter-measures.
3. Research and maintain knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices.
4. Stay up to date on security compliance requirements and regulations.
5. Lead security-related projects, such as vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
6. Monitor security system performance and create reports.
7. Investigate security breaches and recommend preventive measures.
8. Train and educate staff on security procedures and best practices.
9. Provide technical support and troubleshooting when needed.
10. Coordinate with other departments, such as IT and HR, to ensure security initiatives are implemented effectively.
