RN, Inpatient L&D/postpartum

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Inpatient Labor & Delivery/Postpartum team at Kaiser Permanente. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality care to patients during the childbirth process, as well as after delivery. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work with a diverse population in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

-Provide quality care to patients during the childbirth process, from labor and delivery through postpartum

-Monitor patient vital signs and provide necessary interventions as needed

-Administer medication and manage pain relief techniques

-Educate patients and family on postpartum care and provide emotional support

-Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

-Document patient care and outcomes

-Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

-Comply with all rules and regulations from regulatory bodies

-Assist with routine care and procedures for newborns and mothers

-Stay up-to-date with current best practices in obstetrics and postpartum care
