RN, Inpatient L&D/postpartum

The ideal candidate should have strong clinical skills, be a team player, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.To be successful in this role, you must have a current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of California and a minimum of two years of inpatient Labor and Delivery/Postpartum nursing experience. Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality inpatient labor and delivery/postpartum nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
2. Monitor patient health, document changes, and administer medications under the direction of a physician.
3. Educate patients and family members on proper care and post-discharge instructions.
4. Ensure all patient records, including electronic medical records, are up to date and accurate.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that optimal patient care is provided.
6. Maintain a compassionate and caring demeanor while providing exceptional patient care.
7. Actively participate in meetings and contribute to the overall team effort.
8. Adhere to all safety and quality standards and regulations.
9. Stay up to date on the latest developments in the field of labor and delivery/postpartum nursing.
