Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and assess patient health during labor and delivery and postpartum care.
2. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
3. Provide education and support to patients and families.
4. Develop individualized care plans and coordinate patient care.
5. Respond to patient calls and address patient concerns in a timely manner.
6. Communicate patient status and needs to other healthcare team members.
7. Follow established protocols and standards of care.
8. Maintain patient records and document patient care services.
9. Participate in quality improvement activities.
10. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
