RN, Day Surgery

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Day Surgery team at Kaiser Permanente. As a member of our healthcare team, the Registered Nurse (RN) will provide quality patient care in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organization

• Develop and implement patient care plans, monitor patient progress, and evaluate outcomes

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians

• Perform patient assessments, collect vital signs, and document patient information

• Monitor and perform diagnostic tests and interpret results

• Provide patient and family education and support

• Respond to patient requests and needs in a timely manner

• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards

• Utilize telemetry, IV therapy, and wound care appropriately

• Ensure infection control protocols are followed

• Participate in staff meetings and other departmental activities

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
