Job Description

Kaiser Permanente is looking for a Risk Management Consultant to join our team and make a real impact. As a Risk Management Consultant, you will be responsible for providing guidance and direction to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures.The ideal candidate for this role should have a Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Compliance, Business Management or a related field. You should have a minimum of five years of experience in risk management and/or compliance and have strong understanding of the risk management process. Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills are a must. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
  2. Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures.
  3. Provide guidance and direction on risk management decisions.
  4. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
  5. Communicate risk management strategies and plans to internal stakeholders.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as insurers, regulatory bodies, and industry experts.
  7. Analyze risk management reports and data to identify areas of improvement.
  8. Monitor risk management processes and systems to ensure compliance.
  9. Prepare risk management reports and presentations for senior management.
  10. Participate in risk management training programs.
