- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs.
- Administer respiratory treatments, procedures, and medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' response to treatment and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal care.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory health management, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and document all procedures and treatments performed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in respiratory care through continuous education and training.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Provide emotional support and empathy to patients and their families during difficult times.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing new policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Current State License As A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Critical Care Unit.
Knowledge And Experience With A Variety Of Respiratory Equipment, Including Mechanical Ventilators And Oxygen Delivery Devices.
Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
