Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our Kaiser Permanente team. This role requires someone with a high level of medical knowledge who takes pride in providing exceptional patient care. To be successful in this position, you must have strong clinical skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will need to possess current certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and have experience working in a hospital setting. In this role you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care for patients with respiratory disorders, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. Responsibilities:

  1. Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with respiratory disorders.
  2. Perform various diagnostic tests, such as pulmonary function tests, cardiopulmonary stress tests, and arterial blood gas analysis.
  3. Administer medications and oxygen therapy to patients.
  4. Monitor patients in order to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and to detect complications.
  5. Educate patients and family members about respiratory disorders, treatments, and preventive measures.
  6. Maintain accurate medical records and document patient progress.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure the best possible care for each patient.
  8. Participate in ongoing professional development activities to remain current on advances in the field of respiratory care.
  9. Adhere to all relevant safety procedures and protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Principles

  • Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner License

  • At Least Year Of Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting

  • Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls) From The American Heart Association

  • Methods And Techniques Of Respiratory Care Practices
