- Manage and coordinate various vaccine studies to ensure their successful completion within established timelines and budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including setting objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the recruitment and enrollment of study participants, ensuring compliance with study protocols and ethical guidelines.
- Communicate with study team members, stakeholders, and external partners to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure alignment of project goals and objectives.
- Monitor and track study progress, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Manage study budgets and resources, including identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of study protocols, regulatory documents, and other necessary paperwork.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of study activities.
- Stay current on industry developments and best practices in vaccine research and project management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Train and mentor junior staff members and provide guidance on project management and research methodologies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new research initiatives and protocols.
- Represent the organization at conferences, meetings, and other events related to vaccine studies.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all study-related activities, including data and documentation.
- Uphold the mission and values of Kaiser Permanente and promote a positive work culture within the research team.
Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Public Health, Epidemiology, Or Biostatistics.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience Managing Research Projects, Preferably In The Area Of Vaccine Studies.
Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) Guidelines.
Strong Understanding Of Clinical Trial Design, Data Management, And Statistical Analysis.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
