  1. Greet and assist patients with checking in for appointments, collecting necessary paperwork and information, and directing them to the appropriate areas of the facility.
  2. Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  3. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
  5. Verify insurance information and communicate financial responsibilities to patients.
  6. Schedule appointments and handle appointment cancellations or rescheduling as needed.
  7. Keep accurate records of patient interactions and update patient information in the electronic health record system.
  8. Ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
  9. Stay up-to-date on the latest changes and updates to Kaiser Permanente policies, procedures, and services to accurately assist patients.
  10. Maintain a positive and welcoming environment for patients and their families.
  11. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the overall operations of the facility.
  12. Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and provide feedback to management on ways to enhance the patient experience.
  13. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  14. Attend and actively participate in training and development programs to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  15. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Patient Registration, Scheduling, Or Customer Service In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Verification, And Billing Processes.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Providers.

  • Proficient In Using Electronic Health Record Systems And Other Relevant Software.
