- Provide compassionate and skilled care to neonatal patients and their families in the NICU setting.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assess and document patients' conditions and progress, and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on proper care and treatment plans, as well as any necessary home care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and ensure all documentation is compliant with legal and ethical standards.
- Monitor and maintain medical equipment, supplies, and medications to ensure safe and effective use.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing any concerns or needs in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in neonatal care and maintain required certifications.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Display professionalism, empathy, and integrity in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field
Current And Unrestricted Registered Nurse License In The State Of Employment
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Nicu)
Bls And Nrp Certifications
