
Registered Nurse - NICU

- Provide specialized and high-quality care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Monitor and assess the health status of neonatal patients, including vital signs, medication administration, and other necessary interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
- Educate and support parents and families during their baby's NICU stay, including providing information on infant care and developmental milestones.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Continuously evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient response and changing needs.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and families to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in neonatal care.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Promote a safe and comfortable environment for patients, families, and team members.
- Serve as an advocate for neonatal patients and their families, ensuring their rights and needs are met.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members.
- Remain up-to-date on current evidence-based practices and guidelines in neonatal care.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in performance improvement activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.
Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Practice.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Nicu).
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification.
Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills To Provide Specialized Care For Newborns And Their Families.
