- Oversee and coordinate the care of patients in the inpatient unit, ensuring the highest level of care and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Supervise and provide guidance to the nursing staff, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
- Act as a resource for the nursing staff, answering questions and providing support as needed.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess patient needs and ensure that care is being delivered according to established standards.
- Monitor and maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide necessary interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a safe and positive patient experience.
- Implement and enforce infection control and safety procedures.
- Stay current on industry developments, best practices, and new technologies related to patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and trainings.

- Adhere to all legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Registered Nurse - Charge Inpatient At Kaiser Permanente Must Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Program.
Active Rn License: The Candidate Must Hold A Current And Active Registered Nurse License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience: Kaiser Permanente Typically Requires At Least 2 Years Of Experience As A Registered Nurse In An Acute Care Setting For This Role.
Leadership And Management Skills: The Charge Inpatient Rn Must Have Proven Leadership And Management Skills, Such As The Ability To Delegate Tasks And Make Critical Decisions In A Fast-Paced Environment.
