  1. Develop and implement nutrition programs and policies to support the overall healthcare mission of Kaiser Permanente.
  2. Oversee the daily operations of the nutrition department, including managing a team of nutritionists and dietitians.
  3. Monitor and evaluate nutrition services to ensure high-quality and efficient delivery of care to patients.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop personalized nutrition plans for patients based on their medical needs and dietary restrictions.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in clinical nutrition in order to continuously improve the nutrition services at Kaiser Permanente.
  6. Maintain accurate and organized records of patient nutrition assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  7. Supervise the procurement and inventory of food and nutrition supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  8. Provide leadership and mentorship to the nutrition team, encouraging professional growth and development.
  9. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  10. Identify and address any operational issues or concerns, implementing solutions to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  11. Collaborate with other healthcare departments to develop and implement nutrition education programs for patients, staff, and the community.
  12. Participate in departmental and organizational meetings, providing updates on nutrition services and initiatives.
  13. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to clinical nutrition services.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional relationship with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  15. Continuously assess and improve the nutrition department's performance and outcomes, utilizing data and feedback from patients and stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Certification As A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Nutrition Setting, Preferably In A Managerial Role.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Clinical Nutrition Professionals.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Nutrition Practices And Ability To Stay Updated On Current Research And Trends In The Field.
