Job Description

Radiology Technologist at Kaiser Permanente is a rewarding position that requires a dedicated, knowledgeable individual to join our team. We are seeking an experienced professional with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a medical background and a thorough understanding of radiation safety protocols, as well as a strong commitment to providing quality services.To be successful in this position, the Radiology Technologist must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate expertise in using imaging equipment. The ability to work collaboratively with other members of the medical team is essential, as is a strong understanding of patient privacy and confidentiality laws. A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Radiology Technology or a related field is required for this position. Additionally, certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate imaging equipment to capture X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds, and other imaging modalities for diagnosis and treatment of patients
  2. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations for radiation safety
  3. Follow protocols for patient privacy and confidentiality
  4. Collaborate with other members of the medical team to ensure quality patient care
  5. Maintain detailed records of patient imaging and treatment
  6. Provide patient education on imaging procedures and radiation safety
  7. Troubleshoot and report any issues with imaging equipment to appropriate personnel
  8. Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in radiology technology and techniques
