  1. Operate and maintain radiologic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  2. Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, providing clear instructions and addressing any questions or concerns.
  3. Position patients correctly and adjust equipment to ensure accurate and precise images.
  4. Monitor and record patients' vital signs during procedures, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  5. Administer contrast agents as needed, following established protocols and ensuring patient safety.
  6. Follow radiation safety guidelines and protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary radiation exposure.
  7. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to review images, discuss findings, and determine appropriate course of action for patients.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures performed, including patient information and imaging results.
  9. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
  10. Stay current with advancements and changes in radiologic technology and techniques through continuing education and training.
  11. Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times, following HIPAA guidelines.
  12. Provide exceptional patient care and ensure patient satisfaction by addressing any concerns or needs promptly and professionally.
  13. Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of imaging results.
  14. Follow departmental policies and procedures, and adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  15. Assist in training and mentoring new technologists and students, as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Exceptional Patient Care.

  • Valid Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Radiologic Technologist, With At Least 2 Years At A Supervisory Or Lead Level

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Radiologic Technology Principles And Techniques, Including The Ability To Operate And Troubleshoot Complex Radiologic Equipment
