- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRI, CT scans, and mammograms, in a safe and accurate manner.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, taking into consideration any special needs or concerns.
- Review and assess imaging requests from healthcare providers, ensuring proper protocols and techniques are followed.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient information, and any incidents or complications.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members, providing clear and concise information.
- Continuously assess and improve technical skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices.
- Assist with training and mentoring new Radiologic Technologists, as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service.
- Flexibility to work on-call hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of the healthcare organization, including attendance and punctuality standards.
- Represent the healthcare organization in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Strong Knowledge Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology.
Possess A Valid And Current License From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Clinical Setting As A Radiologic Technologist.
Proficient In The Operation Of Radiographic Equipment, Including Digital Imaging Systems.
Ability To Work On An On-Call Basis With A Flexible Schedule, Including Nights, Weekends, And Holidays.
