  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including x-rays, CT scans, and MRIs on patients as ordered by physicians.
  2. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures by following established protocols and best practices.
  3. Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques and provide quality images for diagnosis.
  5. Accurately input and maintain patient information in electronic medical records.
  6. Monitor and assess images for quality and make adjustments as needed for optimal results.
  7. Educate patients about procedures, answer questions, and address concerns to maintain a positive patient experience.
  8. Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
  9. Stay up-to-date on advancements in imaging technology and participate in training and development opportunities.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all aspects of job responsibilities.
  11. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care and outcomes.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging services.
  13. Adhere to department policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient workflow.
  14. Prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  15. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • State Licensure As A Radiologic Technologist.

  • Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology From An Accredited Program.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare System.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Radiology Equipment, Procedures, And Safety Protocols.
