Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Psychologist - Pain Management to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have the ability to work collaboratively with other medical professionals. You must be able to provide excellent patient care and have the necessary technical skills to help our patients in managing their pain.The successful candidate should have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, postdoctoral training in pain management, and be licensed to practice psychology in the state of California. You must also possess excellent communication skills, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to build strong relationships with patients and their families. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent patient care and support to those suffering from chronic pain
  2. Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for patients
  3. Implement evidence-based psychological techniques to help patients effectively manage their pain
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  5. Utilize strong communication skills to work collaboratively with other medical professionals
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families
  7. Remain up-to-date on current research and best practices in pain management
  8. Participate in continuing education courses to stay current on new developments in the field
  9. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
