- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for children and adolescents to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to children and adolescents.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and educators, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
- Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Educate and support caregivers and families in understanding mental health issues and implementing effective strategies for managing symptoms.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient sessions and treatment plans.
- Adhere to ethical and legal guidelines in all aspects of patient care.
- Stay current on developments and advancements in the field of child and adolescent psychology.
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
- Serve as an advocate for children and adolescents in promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma.
- Collaborate with community organizations and resources to provide additional support and services for patients.
- Uphold the values and mission of Kaiser Permanente in all interactions and responsibilities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve upon treatment approaches and techniques.
- Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and sensitivity in all interactions with patients and their families.
Doctoral Degree In Clinical Psychology Or A Related Field, With A Focus On Child And Adolescent Mental Health.
State Licensure As A Psychologist, With Specific Training And Experience In Child Psychiatry.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working With Children And Adolescents In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Hospital Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Treatments For A Wide Range Of Childhood Mental Health Disorders, Such As Anxiety, Depression, Adhd, And Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients And Their Families.
