- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for patients seeking mental health care services at Kaiser Permanente.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs and goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to provide holistic and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of psychology to ensure high-quality care for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers to provide education and support throughout the treatment process.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by the American Psychological Association and state licensing boards.
- Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and collaborate on treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and support for patients in acute distress.
- Act as a resource and mentor for less experienced psychologists and other mental health professionals within the organization.
- Continuously evaluate and improve treatment methods and processes to enhance the overall quality of mental health care at Kaiser Permanente.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for patients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and data privacy regulations.
- Contribute to the overall mission of improving the mental health and well-being of the community.
A Doctoral Degree In Psychology From An Accredited Institution, With A Focus On Clinical Psychology Or A Related Field.
A Valid License To Practice Psychology In The State Where The Position Is Located.
A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Hospital Setting.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Therapy Techniques, Including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, And Mindfulness-Based Approaches.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Team And Effectively Engage With Patients From Various Backgrounds.
