- Lead a team of IT engineers and provide guidance and direction on laboratory technology projects.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions for improving laboratory applications and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical issues and improve overall system performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in laboratory technology to ensure Kaiser Permanente remains at the forefront of healthcare technology.
- Provide technical expertise and support to other departments and stakeholders within the organization.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and external partners to ensure the best technology solutions for Kaiser Permanente.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in relation to laboratory technology.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful implementation of laboratory technology initiatives.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and contribute to their career development.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of laboratory applications.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Software Development, Including At Least 3 Years In A Leadership Or Management Role.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Laboratory Information Systems And Experience Working With Clinical Laboratory Systems.
Strong Understanding Of Software Development Methodologies, Such As Agile, And Experience Implementing Them In A Team Environment.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
