  1. Develop and deliver comprehensive prenatal education classes to expecting parents, covering topics such as nutrition, exercise, labor and delivery, newborn care, and postpartum health.
  2. Work closely with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the latest evidence-based information is included in class materials.
  3. Provide one-on-one support and guidance to expecting parents, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  4. Create and maintain educational materials and resources for expecting parents, including handouts, visual aids, and online content.
  5. Collaborate with community organizations and local resources to enhance the prenatal education program and offer additional support to families.
  6. Continuously evaluate and update the prenatal education curriculum to ensure it meets the needs of expecting parents and reflects current best practices.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough records of class attendance and participant feedback.
  8. Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in prenatal care and education, and incorporate them into the program as appropriate.
  9. Serve as a resource and advocate for expecting parents, helping them navigate the healthcare system and connect with necessary resources.
  10. Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, respecting the diverse backgrounds and experiences of all participants.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Nursing, Education, Or Health Sciences.

  • Certification As A Childbirth Educator From A Reputable Organization Such As Lamaze Or Icea.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Teaching Prenatal Education Classes To Expectant Parents.

  • Knowledge Of Current Best Practices In Prenatal Care And Childbirth, Including Evidence-Based Information On Labor And Delivery, Breastfeeding, And Postpartum Care.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Engage With A Diverse Group Of Expectant Parents And Their Families.
