  1. Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of neurosurgical conditions.
  2. Collaborate with neurosurgeons to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  3. Perform and assist with various neurosurgical procedures, such as biopsies, suturing, and wound care.
  4. Monitor and manage patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  5. Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment options.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  7. Adhere to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  8. Stay up-to-date with advancements in neurosurgical techniques and technologies.
  9. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  10. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to enhancing patient outcomes.
  12. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  13. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job performance.
  14. Attend and actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and educational sessions.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.

  • Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.

  • Current Certification From The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Physician Assistant In A Neurosurgical Setting.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Medical Record Systems And Proficiency In Using Them.
