  1. Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of patients to determine their individual needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  2. Utilize evidence-based interventions and techniques to provide high-quality orthopedic rehabilitation services.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  4. Provide patient education on proper techniques and exercises to promote recovery and prevent future injuries.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
  6. Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  7. Adhere to all ethical and professional standards, as well as regulatory guidelines and best practices.
  8. Participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of exceptional care.
  9. Stay current on advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation and utilize new techniques and technology to improve patient outcomes.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to establish a trusting and collaborative relationship.
  11. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following infection control and safety protocols.
  12. Collaborate with insurance companies and third-party payers to obtain authorization for services.
  13. Act as an advocate for patients and their families, promoting their rights and ensuring their needs are met.
  14. Adhere to Kaiser Permanente's mission, values, and standards of behavior in all interactions.
  15. Seek opportunities for professional growth and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of A Doctor Of Physical Therapy (Dpt) Degree From An Accredited Program

  • Current State License To Practice Physical Therapy

  • At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Outpatient Orthopedic Settings

  • Advanced Certification In Orthopedics (E.g. Ocs Or Scs) Preferred

  • Strong Knowledge And Experience In Manual Therapy, Therapeutic Exercise, And Evidence-Based Practice In Orthopedic Rehabilitation.
