We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team, working 40 hours per week during daytime hours. As a Physical Therapist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and other physical conditions.   1. Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of patients' physical condition, medical history, and treatment goals.
  2. Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  3. Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments, exercises, and interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall function.
  4. Monitor and track patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure a multidisciplinary approach.
  6. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, exercises, and techniques for maintaining long-term physical health.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and discharge summaries.
  8. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice and maintain patient confidentiality.
  9. Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current on best practices and advancements in the field of physical therapy.
  10. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
  11. Act as a positive representative of Kaiser Permanente, promoting our mission, values, and commitment to patient care.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  13. Collaborate with other departments and teams within Kaiser Permanente to promote a seamless and comprehensive healthcare experience for patients.

  15. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times, providing empathetic care to patients and their families during challenging times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Program.

  • State Licensure As A Physical Therapist.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In An Outpatient Setting, Preferably With A Diverse Patient Population.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Current Evidence-Based Practices And Ability To Develop Individualized Treatment Plans.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multi-Disciplinary Team And Educate Patients On Their Treatment Plans And Exercises.
