Phlebotomist

Responsibilities:

1. Draw blood from patients for laboratory analysis and other medical tests in a respectful, prompt, and efficient manner.
2. Administer injections and immunizations as needed.
3. Ensure the accuracy of all patient specimens collected.
4. Make sure all specimen collection and processing procedures are followed correctly.
5. Identify and document any potential problems with specimen collection or processing.
6. Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures.
7. Maintain patient records in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
8. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
9. Provide patient education on specimen collection and other related topics.
10. Assist with other laboratory duties as needed.
