  1. Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and staff members.
  2. Accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions and medication orders.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  4. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the proper dispensing of medications.
  5. Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications.
  6. Accurately enter and maintain patient and medication information in the pharmacy database.
  7. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
  8. Follow all state and federal regulations and guidelines for dispensing medications.
  9. Educate patients on medication use and potential side effects.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  11. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with prescriptions or medication orders.
  12. Continuously update knowledge of pharmaceutical products and services.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to quality assurance standards.
  14. Assist with training and mentoring new pharmacy technicians.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  16. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and protocols.
  17. Provide flexibility in schedule to cover shifts as needed.
  18. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  19. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  20. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education

  • Completion Of A Pharmacy Technician Training Program

  • Current Certification As A Pharmacy Technician (Cpht)

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience Working As A Pharmacy Technician In A Hospital Or Retail Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pharmaceutical Terminology, Drug Calculations, And Inventory Management Systems.
