
Pharmacy Technician - PRN

- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and staff members.
- Accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions and medication orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the proper dispensing of medications.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications.
- Accurately enter and maintain patient and medication information in the pharmacy database.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
- Follow all state and federal regulations and guidelines for dispensing medications.
- Educate patients on medication use and potential side effects.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with prescriptions or medication orders.
- Continuously update knowledge of pharmaceutical products and services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to quality assurance standards.
- Assist with training and mentoring new pharmacy technicians.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Provide flexibility in schedule to cover shifts as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Completion Of A Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Current Certification As A Pharmacy Technician (Cpht)
Minimum Of 1 Year Experience Working As A Pharmacy Technician In A Hospital Or Retail Setting
Strong Knowledge Of Pharmaceutical Terminology, Drug Calculations, And Inventory Management Systems.
