Pharmacy Intern

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern at Kaiser Permanente to join our team and help provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and is an excellent communicator. The Pharmacy Intern will be an integral part of the pharmacy team and will be responsible for providing support to our licensed pharmacists.To be successful in this role, the Pharmacy Intern must have a Pharmacy Technician Certification, a valid license/registration as required by the state and be familiar with the pharmacy operations and processes. A successful candidate must also be able to work collaboratively and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: • Provide excellent customer service and support to pharmacists. • Ensure compliance with state licensing and registration regulations. • Maintain knowledge of pharmacy operations and processes. • Ensure accuracy in filling, compounding, and dispensing medications. • Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking of medications. • Answer customer inquiries and provide assistance in locating products. • Assist with the data entry and management of patient profiles. • Participate in the training of new staff members. • Follow safety protocols and procedures for handling medication. • Collaborate with other pharmacy staff to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
