  • Perform ultrasound scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures on pregnant patients to monitor the development and well-being of the fetus
  • Utilize specialized equipment and techniques to obtain high-quality images and measurements of the fetus and surrounding structures
  • Communicate findings and observations to the patient's healthcare team, including physicians and nurses, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures and patient information
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safety and comfort of the patient and staff
  • Stay up-to-date on current technology and advancements in perinatal ultrasound techniques to provide the best possible care for patients
  • Educate patients and their families on the purpose and process of perinatal ultrasound exams
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients
  • Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor at all times, providing emotional support and reassurance to patients during their exams
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.

  • Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Rdms) In Obstetrics And Gynecology.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Perinatal Sonographer, Preferably In A Hospital Or Medical Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Fetal Anatomy And Physiology, As Well As Experience With High-Risk Pregnancies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
