  1. Provide compassionate and professional care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.
  2. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  3. Assist healthcare professionals with procedures and treatments, such as administering medication, changing dressings, and collecting specimens.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  5. Respond promptly to patient calls and requests, and communicate any changes in their condition to the healthcare team.
  6. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  7. Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning, using proper body mechanics to prevent injury.
  8. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care and promote a positive patient experience.
  10. Attend training and education sessions to stay updated on best practices and procedures in patient care.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations, to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
  12. Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies in patient care areas.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for improving patient care and processes.
  14. Adhere to all safety and emergency procedures, responding quickly and appropriately to any potential hazards or emergencies.
  15. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards patients, their families, and fellow healthcare team members at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education

  • Completion Of A Certified Patient Care Technician Training Program

  • Active Certification As A Patient Care Technician Through A Recognized Organization (E.g. Nha, Nccpt, Etc.)

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients
