Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Patient Care Technician to join our Kaiser Permanente team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, vital sign measurement, specimen collection and other clinical duties. The successful candidate will ensure the highest levels of patient care and comfort are maintained at all times.The ideal candidate should have experience in a medical office setting, along with a current CNA, EKG, Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification. They should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to effectively collaborate with other medical staff. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  2. Measure vital signs and record patient information accurately.
  3. Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing.
  4. Document patient care services accurately and thoroughly.
  5. Maintain a safe and tidy environment for patients.
  6. Maintain current certification in CNA, EKG, Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant.
  7. Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure the highest levels of patient care and comfort.
  8. Educate patients and families on proper care and procedures.
  9. Adhere to all safety and health regulations.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
